In October we are returning to our winter training schedule of alternating efforts sessions and long runs, mostly closer to the city but occasionally venturing out as far as Wotton under Edge. With the government guidelines mandating that we do not gather in groups larger than 6, it is important that runners intending to join us for Tuesday runs let Tommi Grover know ideally before Tuesday lunchtime.
We have recently started offering a shorter option run aimed at around 5-6km for those moving up from a "couch to 5km" program, and with the longer run we often have a group that starts at 7pm running at a gentle pace, with a faster group starting at 7.15pm and aiming to overtake them somewhere along the route in a socially distant manner.... I'd love to say we'll be going for a drink and a bite to eat after each run, but in the current climate that is hard to promise as far ahead as October, we will be playing it very much by ear and where we CAN socialise responsibly post-run, we will.
