  • World Championships training in Nailsea

    BOK's Nailsea Urban Race got off to a flying start when Megan Carter-Davis (SBOC), GB's World Cup Silver Medallist, attended prior to starting her preparations for competing in the World Championships in Denmark later this month. Perfect weather, and fast longer legs on some of the courses, meant that the winning times were likely to be pretty fast already - but with a number of Elites racing, the competition was as hot as the sunshine!
  • Sprint format shines in the sun at Hanham

    The BOK Urban Series changed format slightly for the races in Hanham, with 2 sprint races for each competitor rather than the normal longer urban race. We luckily had bright evening sunshine - making for the perfect weather for a spot of sprinting. Food and refreshments were also provided by Ivy’s Cafe meaning that we had a very social club event.

Its another bumper issue covering news about: the Urban Series, our recent regional events, EOD vs Online, Volunteer profile, our Senior and Junior League winners, and our regular updates on events and training.
  • Super-Weston Racing Treat

    Those that competed at the Weston-Super-Mare Urban Race had a real treat, and not the ‘stick of rock’ type, but fast paced racing along the promenade of the sea-front with the wind in your hair and the smell of fish & chips as an incentive to finish quickly and get a local speciality supper!
  • Heavy rain does not dampen the spirits in Bath

    Despite the majority of competitors getting drenched in the heavy downpours at the Bath Urban Race, overwhelming feedback was of very well planned courses that took in all of the intricacies that the beautiful Georgian City of Bath has to offer.
