The exciting news this month is that this week we started an online Strength and Conditioning class for members on Wedneday evenings at 7.30pm. Experienced Orienteerer, champion and ex PE teacher, Jackie Hallett is pioneering this new initiative which gives an opportunity for club mates to see each other’s friendly faces and get together to keep strong, fit and healthy, ready for when we can all get together again and run around in person.
"The sessions cover a selection of exercises including Pilates, yoga and resistance training. No equipment is needed, but if you have an exercise mat that would be useful otherwise the carpet is fine. I will provide different levels of the exercises so that they will be suitable for all ages and abilities." Adds Jackie.
