A scenic summer run along the banks of the Severn. If visiting the pub afterwards, please keep to groups of 6 or less outside, no more than two households together inside. You will need to download the "Young's on Tap" app and enter a payment method prior to going to the pub.
As well as posting the weekly training run suggestions, we are now also running as socially distanced group runs on Tuesday evenings. Each week we will offer 1 run of approximately 5-6km, so if you can manage a parkrun, you can also manage our short run. The longer run group will aim to run in the region of 10km each week, with both runs aiming to be back to the finish in approximately 1 hour. We'll meet at 7pm for a 7.15pm start, although if it looks like we have more than 6 runners we will set groups off early to enable us to stick to the government guidelines. It would be very helpful if you can let Tommi Grover know if you are wanting to run the short or long run before midday on Tuesday so that we can plan appropriate numbers.
For those that want to run in their own time during the week, 'The BOK Weekly training run suggestion' is intended to provide some variety to our running. Each week we'll set one of our regular Tuesday night routes on our Plot-a-Route page, and post this to the website and to Facebook.
The runs are generally runnable in an hour, depending on your pace, and vary between 8km and 11km in length. We've tried to introduce some shortcuts where possible, or if a run is a little on the short side we've added an extra loop.
