    Jackie Hallett won the December BOK Chairman's Facebook Challenge by completing leg 2 - 3 on the Short Blue orienteering course at Long Valley on 11 December in 32 seconds.  She received her prize at Bristol Orienteering Klub's event in Leigh Woods.  Jackie said 'I looked at the map as I started and saw that it was a short leg, so I made a special effort to run it quickly.'

    The club has decided to provide on-line entry for all our day events in 2017.  It is now available for all events up to March at the same cost as entry on the day, at http://www.fabian4.co.uk.  This will save competitors having to queue at registration and fill in a paper entry form.  Instead those with their own dibber will be able to go directly to the...

    After much discussion and searching for alternatives, it has been decided to reschedule the BOK and ASO League event at Leigh Woods on Sunday 4th December. The event will now take place (without the ASO component) on Saturday 7th January.
