The existing BOK Constitution must be updated in order to comply with current standards of governance, and a lot of work has already gone into producing a revised version. Appropriate advisory documents have been reviewed, while past and present members of the club Committee have contributed to the current draft. Our entry for the 2018 Compass Sport Cup is in, and it is confirmed that we will be starting the defence of the Cup at the Quantocks Orienteers event at The Slades, on Sunday 11th March. Following hard on the heels of last weekend's event in the Forest of Dean, BOK is returning to Yoxter Ranges in the Mendips after a long absence.
Saturday 20th January is the date with a full set of courses available, from hard and long (Brown) to short and easy (White). Beginners are most welcome with help and advice available. For the harder courses the area is technically challenging...more...

On Saturday 13th January, Chris Johnson is holding an Introductory Course on the use of OCAD for Mapping at his home in Frenchay, North Bristol.
The object of the course is to help novices work efficiently when they begin mapping.
