The British Orienteering National Office made the most of the glorious World Orienteering Day weatherand ran a fun Xplorer event around the grounds of the Head Office at Scholes Mill in Tansley, near Matlock in their lunch hour today.

Great Britain has two strong teams taking part in the World Cup Sprint Relay tonight in Finland.

Timed to coincide with World Orienteering Day, the relay will take place in the heart of the Finnish city of Turku. With around 30 teams competing, the racing will be fast, furious and exciting. You can follow all the action here.

The 2017 British Long Championships were hosted by the North West Orienteering Association on the fells and woodland around High Dam in the Lake District.
